The short film ‘Driving Lessons’ is to vie at the Mill Valley Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Marzieh Riahi, the Iranian short film ‘Driving Lessons’ has been selected to go on screen at the Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF) in the US.

The film’s cast includes actors Linda Kiani, Alireza Sanifar, Salar Khamseh, and Sanaz Mesbah.

The short has previously competed at the Tampere Film Festival in Finland, the Cartagena Film Festival in Colombia, the Tribeca Film Festival in the US, and the Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada.

Established in 1977, MVFF was once a three-day showcase; but it is now developed into an eleven-day festival.

The international event presents a wide range of new films around the world. Each year, the fest welcomes more than 200 filmmakers from 50 countries.

The 42nd edition of the MVFF will be held on October 3-13 in the US state of California.
